Akshay Wilson Gathia is currently with Narayana Health Ltd. (NHL) Corporate Office Human Resource department (Bengaluru) and is involved in OD and Training responsible for formulation and execution of Training Strategy to bring in standardization in design and implement the functional behavioural soft skills and leadership training. He has been in the field of Human Resource Management for over one and half decade in various capacities dealing with training and development. Earlier he has been with Technicolor India Pvt. Ltd. Stimulus Consulting Pvt. Ltd. International SOS (Medical Assistant Company) GE Capital International Services and CCFCL. Among the employees development and training Akshay has conducted training programmes for Hewlett Packard (HP) SAP Perot Systems TSI India Ltd Accenture Wipro Infotech Ltd. ICICI Lombard Honeywell Bharti Airtel (in India &Sri Lanka) Epson India Pvt. Ltd. Jubilant Organosis Novartis India Pvt. Ltd. Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) SAP India Pvt. Ltd. Akshays current focus is on human factor in healing amidst the growing role of technology in the health care services. A Bosconian and graduate from Delhi University Akshay is a certified Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) from Thomas Assessment and Leadership Architect/VOICES 360 from Korn Ferry International. He holds Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management (EDHRM) from XLRI-Jamshedpur. He lives in Bengaluru with his wife and two children.
